Jed T. Tressler

What to say about Mr. Tressler? Well, I met Jed when he pledged Alpha Phi Omega at West Virginia University. He has quickly become one of my closest friends in Morgantown and has also become one of the few people that I truly trust. Jed is truly one of those unique human beings had lives up to his standards and tries to help those around him. Which of course makes him like many of the people that I call my Friends (notice the Friends, not friends).

Once there was a group of people I hung around with that was affectionately referred to as "The Group." Since it has torn itself to pieces since High School, I have moved away from several member I could no longer turst. Yet, unfortunately, these people were a unique group with unique personalities, the like of which I haven’t met since, accept in Jed. My Friend Jim agrees with me that, had Jed been in High School with us, he would have been one of us. Why did I choose to put up the Babylon5 "Army of Light" symbol for Jed? Because I truly believe that he is one of those people whose mere presence has a dramatic effect on the eternal conflict between good and evil, between light and dark.

And now... In his own words...

Jedediah Tim Tressler (Thats Me)

I was born on Febuary first, 1980. It was early in the day, I guess that means I'll die late in the night, hopfully in a verry long time from now. Mountains and water have allways been in my blood, I grew up in the town of Confluence, through which the Youghoganey (where mountains meet water) River flows. I'm an "old soul," a fact I am just stedilly coming to trully understand. Soon, I hope to spend my life exploring a different kind of union of mountains and water, the salty water of the ocean, and the mountains of coral where Octopus live. I'll skip a great deal of my early bits, its pritty boring for anybody but me (and most of my HS friends disliked being named), and move strait into college. WVU is what I settled for, a money issue. But without that consesion, I wouldn't have meet the people who have helped to shape me into who I am. My Friends are the most important non-blood people in my life, and those thaat I call Friends I would gladly lay my life on the line fore. Now I am mending a broken heart, that I would gladly take again if given the chance, and learning to deal with the fact that there is no gravity on the planet, earth just sucks. Oh, and by the way, I think the name of that movie was Oliver Twist.
