Matt is one of the most interesting people I’ve met. Hopefully he’ll give me a bio so I can put up some detailed information on him. He has pledged APO, and he was on of the origianl 4 fencers in our little group down in Mo’town. When he started he didn’t know a whole lot about fencing in SCA style. But now the boy has gotten good enough that at the King and Queen’s Rapier Championship on May 9, 1999 he defeated an OGR in the second round of the tourney!! He went on to fight in a melee. He was armed with single rapier and fighting two people one wth cased rapier and one with rapier/rigid. Matt
somehow managed to win and in th process apparently impressed the hell out of Don Diego. Matt has been kicking all our asses since fencing has started up again.... Anyone surprised? I thought not.
Matt is also the Main Storyteller for Morgantown By Night. And he does a damned good job of it too. Matts gotten me into some addictions lately, mainly paintball. And our never-ending ability to seem to always stay up through the night talking.
