The SCA is, by far, one of the funniest groups of people that I ever encountered, much less joined, in my entire life. The Society is a group of people who enjoy the time periods running from the Medieval to the Renaissance. We do everything from Heavy Weapons, Fencing, Cooking, Dancing, Arts and Sciences, Storytelling, and much much more.
So, you may ask, where does my speciality lie? I am most proud to say that I am a Fencer by heart. I was originally trained by Dorian Elvinwood of the Shire of the Blak Rose in the Kingdom of the East. Now I more or less am without a mentor. A small group of us is building a fencing group in the Shire of the Misty Highlands in the Kingdom of Aethelmarc. We've had some difficulties, but we perservere none-the-less.
